BE MY VALENTINE(S)

“I thought we said no gifts this time!” If I had Pokémon for every time I’ve heard that! Hear me out! I like to detach gifts from suggestive holidays as well as removing the obligation to receive a gift. As a poly-lover, it could be perceived as both greedy or a blessing in disguise if everyone within your  “polycule”  bought you a gift. There’s so many other ways to celebrate the important people in your life. One of the best gifts whether you’ve been dating for 6 months or married for 16 years is spontaneity.

Spontaneity is authenticity! Actions are important on so many levels whether calculated or in the moment. Kissing comes in different languages. Sharing a kiss with your partner(s) as they enter or leave the house is one of the many ways to acknowledge their presence and what they bring to your life. Caution should be taken when they are predetermined or aren’t accompanied by conscious eye contact. Yea, lose the game or lose the human(s) walking out the door.
